Fiberglass platforms, ladders, and walkways manufactured by National Oilwell Varco (NOV) are lightweight, highly corrosion-resistant structural access systems specifically developed for demanding industrial sites and offshore platforms. Thanks to the innovative connection systems and specialized joint designs employed, these structures can be pre-assembled and tested off-site, significantly accelerating the installation process. Meeting the highest safety standards, these systems undergo "first article testing" for structural profiles and comply with BS EN 10204:2004 Type 3.1 inspection certification standards. NOV Bondstrand fiberglass piping systems utilize glass-reinforced epoxy (GRE) and fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composite technology, offering a superior alternative to traditional metal pipes that is corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and maintenance-free. Widely used in marine applications, offshore oil platforms, and industrial facilities, these systems are reliably chosen for demanding applications such as ballast lines, seawater cooling, crude oil transport, and wastewater lines. Weighing approximately one-quarter as much as steel pipes, they significantly reduce structural loads while exhibiting high resistance to harsh saltwater and aggressive chemicals, thereby completely eliminating issues like scaling or internal wall erosion.
