Environmental awareness and green focus are becoming increasingly important in the development of the products of the future and our product line. SMART Automation Hydrive is a modular electric propulsion system developed for electric and hybrid marine vessels. Featuring air or liquid-cooled frequency converters, the system enables ships to cruise entirely on electric power at low speeds, utilizing main propeller drives and variable-speed shaft generators.
It is capable of transforming existing diesel-electric vessels into efficient hybrid systems through battery integration, the setup operates in full compatibility with the brand's proprietary automation and power management software.
SMARTChief® II IAS is a scalable, screen-based Integrated Automation System developed for marine and offshore vessels. The system features advanced alarm monitoring that continuously tracks onboard machinery and reports abnormal conditions; controls for pumps, valves, and auxiliary systems; robust process control capabilities; and functions for monitoring tank temperatures and levels. It offers a flexible architecture thanks to its modular design, which comprises decentralized I/O modules and marine-grade control units.
Additionally, it incorporates dual-redundant data bus communication lines for high availability and ensures continuous operation through "hot-swap" support, allowing module replacement while the system is running.
SMART Chief® III PMS is an advanced power management and automation system designed for ships and marine vessels to control generators and hybrid energy sources. Enabling full automation of the power plant, the system ensures complete compliance with the rules of all major classification societies. Offering high durability for both newbuilds and retrofits, the system can be configured with either a single or dual control unit; dual-unit installations directly meet the requirements for DP Class 2 systems.
Furthermore, it operates seamlessly through full integration with other alarm, monitoring, and control systems.
