SMARTChief® II IAS is a scalable, screen-based Integrated Automation System developed for marine and offshore vessels. The system features advanced alarm monitoring that continuously tracks onboard machinery and reports abnormal conditions; controls for pumps, valves, and auxiliary systems; robust process control capabilities; and functions for monitoring tank temperatures and levels. It offers a flexible architecture thanks to its modular design, which comprises decentralized I/O modules and marine-grade control units. Additionally, it incorporates dual-redundant data bus communication lines for high availability and ensures continuous operation through "hot-swap" support, allowing module replacement while the system is running.
