The STADT GROUP is a Norwegian family-owned enterprise located in Gjerdsvika on the west coast of Norway. The group was started in 1985 and consists of the companies STADT AS, STADT NAVAL AS, STADT Eigedom AS, and In Motion AS.
Their main business is integrated electric propulsion systems for medium and large-sized vessels.
With a history since 1985 in the power system market they have gained an extensive experience in power electronics, and their focus is and has always been to deliver solutions which will benefit the owners for the vessels lifetime.

STADT is a supplier of integrated electric propulsion systems which we call LEAN Propulsion Design. This is based on more than 30 years of experience in power systems, with special focus on the marine market.
